Ellipse I2PL Permanent Hair Reduction
No more waxing or shaving - this is the latest technology in permanent hair reduction. Ellipse is an intense pulse light (IPL treatment, virtually pain free and completely safe. All areas of the face and body can be treated and excellent results can be seen immediately. This process is also known as laser hair removal or laser hair reduction. Ellipse I2PL needs to be taken as a series of treatments to be effective. The number of treatments required depends on the areas treated and the type of hair. Initially, a skin patch test and consultation is required which is free of charge. We offer discounts for multiple sessions when paid in advance. Save 5% on course of 3, 10% on courses of 6 and 15% on courses of 9 or more.

Waxing
Absolute uses the wax roller system to ensure the most hygenic and efficient waxing treatment available. For more sensitive areas, Absolute uses a specialised wax system which is gentle and effective on stubborn hairs. It is necessary to avoid sunlight, sunbeds and all heat treatments for 48 hrs before and after waxing. All facial waxing is completed with dusting of professional-grade mineral make-up. This soothes and calms any redness, re-blends previous make-up and provides an SPF of 15.

Hot Wax
Absolute uses a high-end warm strip wax for large areas like legs and arms. A new specialised hot wax is available for sensitive areas such as facial, underarm and bikini waxing. There are many advantages to hot waxing compared with the more usual warm waxing. In particular it is a less painful experience, which makes a huge difference for the Brazilian or Hollywood wax. It is more suited for senstive skin, there is less reddening on the skin follow waxing and it works extremely well on strong, coarse hair.
Hot wax treatments do require a little more time, specialised training and the higher cost of the wax makes the treatment slightly more expensive. Although we do offer a choice of hot or warm wax, we recommend the hot wax for best results and comfort.

Electrolysis
Electrolysis is a safe and effective form of permanent hair removal. This treatment would suit clients with light, fair or sparse hairs. Otherwise we would recommend Ellipse IPL for permanent hair removal.
